One Fish, Two Fish, Summer Red Fish

Captain obvious says, “it’s hot outside”. What most anglers hear, “The water is on fire!” Not literally combustion, but the redfish are in full cruise and eating.

Now if your fishing-fanatic alert is buzzing, you’re probably wondering how you can catch ‘em? For starters, look for shell bars, rocky, or grass areas on the shores as well as across the flats. In the deeper stuff, you’ll do well to find terrain with drops off. As for bait, there are no shortages of options from the weed-less artificial with a spoon, to a top water jigs or plugs. Now if you prefer live bait, think fish (mullet), shrimp, and crabs.

As for a bit more on the shallows, a unique quality to redfish is that they can be seen schooling and tailing. Now if you’re not yet on the water, (obvious boat plug is coming next *winks)  the Spyder FX17 or FX19 can get you in the game while costing thousands less than MANY other competing boats.

From the platform of either of our Spyder models, you’ll put your sight fishing capabilities into overdrive, while remaining in stealth mode. Put plainly, Spyder owners love their boats because there are more features and a greater value than other brands. But don’t take our word for it, engage our owners and follow a few others like yourself (#spyderboats) on the socials to see just the Spyder culture in full bloom.

Finally, if you’re interested in owning your own Spyder, build your fx19 vapor or fx17 flicker or reach out to your local dealer.
